Day 1 Take a scheduled overnight flight from London, via South Africa, to Botswana. Day 2 Relax in a comfortable lodge overlooking the Thamalakane River on the outskirts of Maun. Day 3 Drive past villages and cattle posts to Deception Valley Lodge bordering the Kalahari Game Reserve. Day 4 Enter the vast reserve and safari drive to your comfortable mobile camp situated in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Day 5 Explore the fossil riverbed of renowned Deception Valley on a wildlife safari drive, keeping an eye out for predators. Day 6 On one day your safari guide takes you on a full day's drive with picnic lunch to explore remote wildlife areas. Day 7 Alongside large predators in these valleys and pans live the small deserts creatures like meerkats and ground squirrels.
