How to Book

Once you've chosen a holiday and departure date, you can:

Book online
Click on the 'enquire now' button next to your departure date and fill in the online form - ticking the button which says, "I would like to book this holiday now".

What happens next

After you have booked online or by phone, we will respond with full details of the holiday which we are holding for you, confirm all the costs. We will also email a booking form to you. We will hold these arrangements for you for 4 days, at the price quoted.

To confirm this booking, you need to return the completed booking form to us - by fax, post, or scanned attachment to an email; it must be signed and with the correct deposit.

Currency options

Our prices are originally set in UK Sterling (GBP).

If you prefer to pay in another currency, then our website offers the option of US Dollars, Euros, Australian Dollars or New Zealand Dollars. These prices are converted from UK Sterling (GBP) at the exchange rate of the day - and we can accept bookings for fixed prices in these currencies.

Once we have agreed a currency and price for a booking, both are fixed and will not change regardless of any exchange rate movements.

Payment methods

The payment methods available depend on the currency chosen:

UK Sterling (GBP)
Deposit: GB £250 per person for bookings of under GB £3,000 per person, or 10% of the value of the trip for bookings over this level.
Full payment: due 8 weeks before travel, or immediately for bookings made within that time.
Payment methods: Cheques, Debit cards, Switch/Maestro cards, and direct bank transfers (net of all bank charges) are accepted without any surcharges.
Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted, with a 1.5% levy to cover our costs. American Express payments are accepted with a 2.5% levy to cover our costs.

US Dollars (USD)
Deposit: US $350 per person for bookings of under US $4,000 per person, or 10% of the value of the trip for bookings over this level.
Full payment: due 10 weeks before travel, or immediately for bookings made within that time.
Payment methods: Direct bank transfers in US Dollars (net of all bank charges) are accepted without any surcharges.
Credit card payments are accepted. However, because in the UK we can only apply a sterling charge to a credit card, we may need to charge approximate amount, and then make a further charge/refund when the precise amount appears on your statement. As above, Visa/Mastercard attract a 1.5% levy; American Express commands a 2.5% levy.
US Dollar cheques are accepted provided full payment is settled 16 weeks before travel. We cannot accept a US Dollar cheque for any bookings made within 16 weeks of the travel date as this will take between six to eight weeks to clear with the bank.

Euros (EUR)
Deposit: EU €250 per person for bookings of under EU €3,000 per person, or 10% of the value of the trip for bookings over this level.
Full payment: due 10 weeks before travel, or immediately for bookings made within that time.
Payment methods: Direct bank transfers in Euros (net of all bank charges) are accepted without any surcharges.
Credit card payments are accepted. However, because in the UK we can only apply a sterling charge to a credit card, we may need to charge approximate amount, and then make a further charge/refund when the precise amount appears on your statement. Deposit: AU $500 per person for bookings of under AU $6,000 per person, or 10% of the value of the trip for bookings over this level.

New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
Deposit: NZ$700 per person for bookings of under NZ$8,000 per person, or 10% of the value of the trip for bookings over this level.
Full payment: due 8 weeks before travel, or immediately for bookings made within that time.
Payment methods: Direct bank transfers (net of all bank charges), converted into UK Sterling (GBP) are accepted without any surcharges.
Credit card payments are accepted. However, because in the UK we can only apply a sterling charge to a credit card, we may need to charge approximate amount, and then make a further charge/refund when the precise amount appears on your statement. Confirmation and tickets

Once we have received your signed booking form and deposit (or full payment, if appropriate), we will email you a full confirmation for your holiday within 5 working days, and a copy of our 'Notes for Travellers' for your particular holiday.

About two to four weeks before your trip, we will issue any flight tickets required and send these to you with any necessary vouchers. We usually send these by normal post in the UK, or airmail post outside the UK - if you want us to send these by courier (for an extra charge), or some other method, then please note this down on your booking form.
