Essential info Gallery

The Exclusive Namibia Adventure is a sample itinerary to give you some idea of what is available on an exclusive private guided safari to Namibia. Private-guided safaris have no scheduled departures. You choose the day you start, how long your trip is, and where you visit.

Guide

Your exclusive guide on this private safari will have a high level of knowledge about Namibia and its flora and fauna. S/he will offer a wealth of information on what you see and experience. If you have particular interests, we can usually find a guide to match.

Accommodation

The Exclusive Namibia Adventure includes accommodation in a mix of lodges, safari camps and, in the more remote areas, nights under canvas in private mobile camps.

These relatively luxurious camps use 3x3 meter tents with stretcher beds, bedrolls and bedding, pillow, thick (10cm) mattresses, towels, chairs, wash stands, lamps, torches and insect repellent. You do not do any work at camp; your only decision will be what to drink before dinner. Mobile camps have their own private field toilets and bucket showers (just ask and water will be heated for your shower).

Vehicles

Exclusive private-guided safaris for one or two travellers will usually use a 4WD Landrover. The guide drives and is accompanied by a camp assistant. Group safaris of three to six passengers usually travel with the guide in a specially adapted 4WD safari vehicle, leaving the camp crew to travel independently, with all the camp equipment, in a separate vehicle. In either case, each passenger has his or her own bucket seat with good back support. All the vehicles are equipped with fridge/freezers, HF ratios, inter-vehicle VHF radios and long-range fuel tanks.
