Summary of day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 A scheduled overnight flight from London to Windhoek, via Johannesburg, begins your Namibia & Botswana Safari.
Day 2 Relax at the hotel or explore Windhoek city before meeting with your guide and group for a safari overview.
Day 3 Travel south to your mobile camp in the Namib Desert and explore the towering dunes of Namib-Naukluft Park.
Day 4 An early rise to visit Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei and return to your desert camp via Sesriem Canyon.
Day 5 Cross to the Atlantic Coast for an overnight stay in the historic seaside town of Swakopmund.
Day 6 Head inland to camp amongst the striking granite outcrops of Spitzkoppe, Namibia's 'Matterhorn', and explore the area on foot.
Day 7 Discover one of Namibia's most traditional cultures on a visit to a Himba community in northern Damaraland.
Day 8 Drive east to Etosha National Park and let the exciting game viewing begin!
Day 9 Spend the day discovering Etosha's wildlife with your guide as you visit waterholes and explore game drive routes.
Day 10 Another full day of game viewing as you safari across to the eastern side of the Park, via Etosha Pan.
Day 11 Exit Etosha to cross diverse landscapes, from arid scrubland to lush waterways and woodlands of the Kavango.
Day 12 Explore the waterways by traditional dug-out canoe in the morning and safari by vehicle in the afternoon.
Day 13 Travel further east across the Caprivi Strip to camp by the Kwando River and game drive in Bwabwata.
Day 14 Cross Ngoma Border into Botswana and enjoy Chobe's remarkable and varied sights on a river cruise.
Day 15 Continue east and enter into Zimbabwe to reach Victoria Falls and see this impressive natural wonder of the world.
Day 16 Leisurely morning before you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport to check-in for your departure flight home.
Day 17 Return with great memories of wildlife encounters and local hospitality during your Namibia & Botswana Safari.
