Summary of day-by-day itinerary

The trip price excludes flights. Wild about Africa can arrange flights originating from the UK or within Africa on request; please ask us about these. If you are travelling from somewhere other than the UK, we ask that you arrange your own international flights at least as far as Johannesburg in South Africa. We can assist with flights between Johannesburg and Windhoek/Victoria Falls on request.

Day 1 Relax at the hotel or explore Windhoek city before meeting with your guide and group for a safari overview.
Day 2 Travel south to your mobile camp in the Namib Desert and explore the towering dunes of Namib-Naukluft Park.
Day 3 An early rise to visit Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei and return to your desert camp via Sesriem Canyon.
Day 4 Cross to the Atlantic Coast for an overnight stay in the historic seaside town of Swakopmund.
Day 5 Head inland to camp amongst the striking granite outcrops of Spitzkoppe, Namibia's 'Matterhorn', and explore the area on foot.
Day 6 Discover one of Namibia's most traditional cultures on a visit to a Himba community in northern Damaraland.
Day 7 Drive east to Etosha National Park and let the exciting game viewing begin!
Day 8 Spend the day discovering Etosha's wildlife with your guide as you visit waterholes and explore game drive routes.
Day 9 Another full day of game viewing as you safari across to the eastern side of the Park, via Etosha Pan.
Day 10 Exit Etosha to cross diverse landscapes, from arid scrubland to lush waterways and woodlands of the Kavango.
Day 11 Explore the waterways by traditional dug-out canoe in the afternoon after a morning safari by vehicle.
Day 12 Travel further east and cross Ngoma Border into Botswana to stay in Chobe National Park.
Day 13 Enjoy Chobe's remarkable and varied sights on a morning safari drive and an afternoon river cruise.
Day 14 Continue east and enter into Zimbabwe to reach Victoria Falls and see this impressive natural wonder of the world.
Day 15 Leisurely morning before you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport to check-in for your departure flight home.
