Summary of day-by-day itinerary

The trip price excludes flights. Wild about Africa can arrange flights originating from the UK or within Africa on request; please ask us about these. If you are travelling from somewhere other than the UK, we ask that you arrange your own international flights at least as far as Johannesburg in South Africa. We can assist with flights between Johannesburg and Windhoek on request.

Day 1 Spend your first night in Namibia at a comfortable guesthouse in Windhoek: the perfect place to relax after your flight.
Day 2 Traverse an escarpment and cross desert plains to the private Kulala Reserve and your exclusive semi-permanent camp.
Day 3 Walk through fascinating valleys and marvel at gigantic red sand dunes in the amazing desert area of Sossusvlei.
Day 4 Travel north to where the desert meets the ocean at the coastal resort of Swakopmund.
Day 5 Take a catamaran cruise amongst the Atlantic Ocean's rich marine life including dolphins, seals and maybe even whales.
Day 6 Travel north into Damaraland on remote back roads and through striking desert landscapes.
Day 7 From your semi-permanent camp in a private Damaraland reserve you seek out desert-adapted wildlife on foot and by vehicle.
Day 8 Discover unusual and fascinating desert flora and fauna and perhaps see an entire valley of Bushman rock engravings.
Day 9 Leave Damaraland behind and drive to Etosha National Park, one of Africa's prime game viewing reserves.
Day 10 Base yourself on a private wildlife reserve bordering Etosha whilst you spend the days on safari with your expert guide.
Day 11 Drive south through rural towns as you head back to Windhoek and your guesthouse here.
Day 12 There is time to purchase last-minute souvenirs before catching your overnight flight home from Namibia.
