Summary of day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 A scheduled overnight flight from the UK, via Johannesburg, takes you to Windhoek to start your Namibia safari.
Day 2 The first night is in Windhoek with time to explore the city or relax after your flight.
Day 3 Meet the safari group and drive north to Etosha National Park, arriving in time for your first game drive.
Day 4 Traverse this fantastic wildlife reserve seeking out big game and enjoying spectacular views of the Etosha salt pan.
Day 5 Return to Windhoek, passing through the towns of Tsumeb and Otjiwarongo one your way.
Day 6 Head south through mountain ranges and down an escarpment onto the gravel plains of the vast Namib Desert.
Day 7 Explore Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, climb tall dunes and photograph magnificent vistas, camping at the edge of the desert.
Day 8 Return to Windhoek and overnight in a comfortable guesthouse, enjoying dinner out with the safari group.
Day 9 Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and an overnight flight back to London.
Day 10 Arrive home after a magical taste of Namibia, almost certainly with the intention to return on safari again soon.
