Summary of day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Take an overnight scheduled flight between London Heathrow and Windhoek with South African Airways.
Day 2 Your first night in Namibia is at a comfortable guesthouse in one of Windhoek's leafy suburbs.
Day 3 Journey over the escarpment and down onto the Namib Desert plains to your lodge near the edge of the desert.
Day 4 An early start takes you deeper into the desert for the ultimate sunrise amongst the tallest dunes in the world.
Day 5 Travel north and west to the fascinating desert coastal town of Swakopmund with time to explore the sights on foot.
Day 6 Enjoy a dolphin cruise with champagne and fresh oysters amongst the rich marine life of the outer Walvis Bay lagoon.
Day 7 North along Namibia's coast you turn inland and into the heart of picturesque Damaraland to Twyfelfontein rock art site.
Day 8 Join your Namibia guide on an exciting 4WD safari along the ephemeral Aba-Huab River in search of desert adapted wildlife.
Day 9 Today you visit a Himba community and journey to the western side of Namibia's premier game park: Etosha National Park.
Day 10 Game drive with special permission through the restricted western side of Namibia's Etosha National Park.
Day 11 A full day of wildlife viewing: sometimes driving around and sometimes stopping to watch the action at a waterhole.
Day 12 After a final safari drive you continue to the stylish Okonjima Bush Camp, base for the renowned AfriCat Foundation.
Day 13 A morning activity to see how Namibia's big cats are being conserved, before the return journey to Windhoek.
Day 14 The morning is free to relax or shop for last-minute souvenirs before transferring to the airport for your flight.
Day 15 Arrive home with happy memories and reams of fantastic photographs from your Namibia safari.
