The landscapes of Namibia's Damaraland, Kaokoland and Kunene areas is stunning!
The Wild Namibia Adventure is conducted in 4WD Land Rovers each taking up to 3 passengers to allow everyone a window seat.
Keeping livestock in the desert is no simple task and watering points are often surrounded by a thorny fence to try and keep out unwanted visitors.
Gemsbok can go for days without drinking and so survive in this harsh environment.
Some nights of the Wild Namibia Adventure are spent in mobile camps set up in remote locations.
Whilst in mobile camps you'll sleep on bed rolls with mattresses, pillows and bedding.
Etambura Camp is the first Himba-owned camp in Namibia and offers simple, yet very comforable en suite rooms.
Each room at Etambura Camp has a private deck and impressive views over the Kaokoland landscapes.
After commercial poaching in the 70's and early 80's nearly wiped them out, the work of conservationists and communities have helped ensure the continuing survival of Namibia's desert rhino.
The majority of Namibia's population live on communal land divided up into member-run conservancies.
Whilst on safari in Namibia, tasty meals will be taken at a communal table.
At mobile safari camps meals are cooked over an open fire.
The desert regions of Namibia are home to a suprising number of animals.
