Summary of day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Depart London Heathrow on your overnight flight with Kenya Airways to Kilimanjaro, via Nairobi.
Day 2 Upon arrival in Tanzania you will be met by a driver and taken to a comfortable hotel in the heart of colourful Arusha.
Day 3 Meet with your group and drive through rural Tanzania to Tarangire National Park, your first safari destination.
Day 4 Embark with a picnic, on a full-day's wildlife safari to explore the far reaches of Tarangire National Park.
Day 5 Drive to Lake Manyara National Park where you game drive before watching the sunset from the Rift Valley Escarpment.
Day 6 Before breakfast take an early-morning botanical walk and visit the Iraqw tribe, then depart for the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 7After a morning wildlife safari in Ngorongoro Crater, take an afternoon walk in the highlands to meet a Maasai chief.
Day 8 Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area the Serengeti plains, via the archeological site Olduvai Gorge.
Day 9 A full day safari adventure explores the most renowned park in Tanzania, before sleeping in a luxury tented camp.
Day 10 Spend another full day game-driving with your expert guide, who helps you seek out plains game and big cats.
Day 11 After breakfast, take a light aircraft flight from the Serengeti back to Arusha, to connect with your flight home.
