The Zambia Wildlife Safari allows you to explore one of the country's most productive parks - Kafue National Park. This includes time on the spectacular Busanga Plains, a large seasonal floodplain that echoes the vastness of the Serengeti grasslands.
Guide
The Zambia Wildlife Safari is led by an experienced and fully trained professional guide. S/he is very knowledgeable and will be able to name all the animals and birds you see as well as most of the plants, often adding snippets of information that you hadn't expected to learn.
Accommodation
You will stay at a combination of permanent safari camps and semi-permanent mobile camps.
Of the semi-permanent mobile camps, Musanza Bushcamp is relatively luxurious with spacious, walk-in tents. Each is furnished with full-size beds with pure cotton linen and soft down duvets. There is also en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, bucket shower, hand basins, water jugs, mirror and towels. Bedside lanterns and 'old brass' finishes create style and comfort rivaling those in some of Zambia's permanent lodges and safari camps. A large tent (7x5 metres) with dark teak camp chairs, a full bar table and a basic library creates a shady, cool, relaxing main area. Delicious three-course meals are prepared by the camp chef and served on a beautifully laid dining table in the open, allowing you to enjoy dinner under the stars. When night falls, paraffin hurricane lanterns and a crackling campfire set the evening ambience.
Vehicles
The Zambia Wildlife Safari is conducted in a custom-built 4WD safari vehicle with open sides designed for all-round visibility.
