Comfortable Camping
On a comfortable camping safari you can enjoy the adventure of sleeping under canvas in remote wilderness sites whilst retaining a good-quality level of comfort. Your camp is usually set up for you by the camp staff so your hardest chore is decided what to drink for a sundowner.
Comfortable camping safaris usually utilise spacious dome tents. The interior is typically made up of comfortable camp stretchers with a canvas bedroll, bed linen and duvet or sleeping bag, towels and a small side table. Although each safari is run a little differently, many of the tents have a private, open-air canvas enclosure attached with a 'bush' toilet and a bucket shower. Just ask and the water will be heated for your shower.
Hearty meals are prepared in a field kitchen, usually cooked over a camp fire - you'll marvel at the dishes produced from such a simple set up. On a few occasions we have not included a meal, allowing you and your group to sample some of the delicious local cuisine at a recommended restaurant.
Refer to each individual safari for specific details and contact us with any questions.
