Family Holidays

Namibia is a particularly wonderful destination for a family to visit as it offers adventure for everyone to enjoy. Botswana is one of Africa's best wildlife destinations and can become a natural classroom for children and adults alike. Wild about Africa offers safaris suited to families travelling through both of these destinations.

Many of our Namibia adventures retain a minimum age limit of 12 years old and any of these offer a fantastic and economic way for the whole family to explore this diverse country. We offer one adventure that actively encourages families with children as young as 5 years old to travel here, and to meet like minded visitors.

The minimum age on many of our safaris to Botswana varies between 10 and 12 years. We also offer a few safaris led by a private safari guide with no age limits at all that become more economic the larger the family group size. Family tents, car seats and a babysitting service can also be arranged on these adventures.
