Summary of day-by-day itinerary

Please note We have been advised that sadly this tour will no longer be operating as of 1 January 2019.

The trip price excludes flights. Wild about Africa can arrange flights originating from the UK or within Africa on request; please ask us about these. If you are travelling from somewhere other than the UK, we ask that you arrange your own international flights at least as far as Johannesburg in South Africa. We can assist with flights from Johannesburg to Livingstone and from Maun to Johannesburg on request.

Day 1 View the mighty Victoria Falls before spending a night at a smart lodge overlooking the Zambezi River.
Day 2 Take a boat safari along the Chobe River, spotting big game as it drinks along the water's edge.
Day 3 Stay at the comfortable and private Linyanti Camp, set up under African ebony trees and overlooking the Linyanti Marshes.
Day 4 Seek out wildlife on day and night safari drives with your experienced and knowledgeable Botswana guide.
Day 5 Take a scenic flight to the Santawani Reserve which borders Moremi Game Reserve to the southeast.
Day 6 Use Gomoti Tented Camp as your base from which to explore the floodplains, riverine woodlands and mopane bush.
Day 7 Seek out wildlife on guided nature walks, as well as day and night safari drives.
Day 8 Fly into the heart of the Okavango Delta and stay at a safari camp surrounded by lily-filled lagoons and lush woodlands.
Day 9 Take a boat safari or enjoy a tranquil cruise in a dug-out canoe through the Okavango Delta Waterways.
Day 10 Seek out some of the shier creatures, marvel at the variety of birdlife and watch elephants as they browse.
Day 11 A final scenic flight over the Delta takes you to Maun where you connect onto your international flight.
