Summary of day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Start your desert adventure with an overnight flight from London, via Johannesburg, to Namibia.
Day 2 Overnight at a lovely guest house in one of Windhoek's leafy suburbs; spend the afternoon exploring or relaxing by the pool.
Day 3 Drive through remote outposts to a well-situated ranch set in the Kalahari Desert in time for an afternoon nature drive.
Day 4 Cross from Namibia into South Africa and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park at the Mata Mata border post.
Day 5 Take an early morning safari drive in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in search of the Kalahari predators and plains game.
Day 6 Numerous herds of springbok, gemsbok and eland can be seen here as well as cheetah and lion if you're lucky.
Day 7 Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a landscape of acacia trees and golden grass growing across undulating sand dunes.
Day 8 Cross back into Namibia to reach your campsite by the picturesque Quiver Tree Forest.
Day 9 Travel through Namibia's southern town of Keetmanshoop before reaching the remarkable Fish River Canyon.
Day 10 A comfortable lodge chalet is your base from which to explore the Fish River Canyon environments.
Day 11 The scenery changes rapidly as you head to your camping site situated on the banks of the Orange River.
Day 12 A scenic drive today as you head through Namibia's diamond mining outposts to the small town of Aus.
Day 13 Spend the day visiting Kolmanskop ghost town and exploring the Luderitz peninsula and the historic Diaz point.
Day 14 It's a scenic drive along the edge of the desert to Koiimasis Ranch where you have the perfect opportunity for stargazing.
Day 15 Enjoy some of southern Namibia's most spectacular vistas on the way to your camping site by the Namib Desert.
Day 16 Travel deep into the desert to explore with your guide amongst tall apricot coloured dunes at Sossusvlei.
Day 17 Return to Windhoek via the Remhoogte pass stopping for lunch en-route near the town of Rehoboth.
Day 18 After a relaxing morning you are collected and transferred to Windhoek Airport for your flight to the UK.
Day 19 Arrive back home after a memorable camping adventure in the deserts of Namibia.
