Summary of day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Your first night in Namibia is at a comfortable guesthouse in one of Windhoek's leafy suburbs.
Day 2 Journey over the escarpment and down onto the Namib Desert plains to your lodge near the edge of the desert.
Day 3 An early start takes you deeper into the desert for the ultimate sunrise amongst the tallest dunes in the world.
Day 4 Travel north and west to the fascinating desert coastal town of Swakopmund with time to explore the sights on foot.
Day 5 Enjoy a morning kayaking amongst a colony of Cape fur seals in the outer Walvis Bay lagoon.
Day 6 North along Namibia's coast you turn inland and into the heart of picturesque Damaraland to Twyfelfontein rock art site.
Day 7 Join your Namibia guide on an exciting 4WD safari along the ephemeral Aba-Huab River in search of desert adapted wildlife.
Day 8 Journey to a private reserve bordering Etosha National Park for your first wildlife safari.
Day 9 Game drive through Etosha viewing animals and enjoying spectacular views over a vast salt pan.
Day 10 A full day of wildlife viewing: sometimes driving around and sometimes stopping to watch the action at a waterhole.
Day 11 Continue to Okonjima Reserve, base for the renowned AfriCat Foundation, and then head back to Windhoek.
Day 12 The morning is free to relax or shop for last-minute souvenirs before transferring to the airport for your flight.
